Thank you for visiting. Living Hope is a family of Christians that stands on the rock-solid truth of God's Word. We come from all over central Virginia to worship our Savior Jesus, to grow in faith through his Word and sacraments, and to proclaim him in our community and throughout our world.

Worship

Public worship is the high point of our church's week. We gather together as a family around God's Word and sacraments to receive God's grace in Jesus and to repond with praise and acts of love.

We worship on Sundays at 10:30am. We invite you to join us. The Scripture lessons for next Sunday are posted here. Previous sermons are posted in both text and audio formats.

Bible Study

We believe that God reveals himself and our salvation to us in the Bible. God strengthens our faith through our study of his Word. We offer several opportunities each week for organized Bible study.

Outreach

One of the chief goals of our congregation is to serve our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our pastor and lay leaders hold regular services at six different assisted-living facilities in the Richmond metro region. We also hold a community Vacation Bible School in the summer and other activities throughout the year.

Our pastor regularly holds a fifteen-lesson class on the fundamentals of the Christian faith for anyone who is interested. The class is free of charge.

Living Hope is a congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, a conservative Lutheran church body with historical roots in Wisconsin and a current presence in each of the fifty states and around the world.
